The 7th Annual Diversnight took place tonight at 20:11, at Hobie Beach with Prodive, attempting to reach a new world record of night scuba divers. Diversnight took place in numerous parts of the world, as part of a tradition started in Norway in 2005; About 3000 scuba night divers are expected to take part in this reasonnably new diving event.

Rugby….rugby….all rugby fans descend onto PE this weekend for the Rugby match that will see the Springbok against the All Blacks. This should be an exciting game! It has been 41 years since the All Blacks have been in town.
The match will take place in the city’s new and beautiful Nelson Mandela Bay Stadium, and with all tickets sold, it will be packed to its full capacity of 45000.
The Billabong Pro J-Bay 2011 scheduled for 14-24 July will take place at the internationally renowned Supertubes surf break in Jeffreys Bay, 80km from Port Elizabeth.
This is the only African field and the 4th out of a series of 11 making up the 2011 ASP World Tour, which will crown the annual ASP World Surfing Champion, from amongst the world’s top 34 ranked professional surfers.
